Sarge the Sergeant

Sarge (160 pounds) Sarge is a fawn with a black mask. He has completed his obedience training and is registered as a “Emotional Support Animal.” Sarge is a “Hoss” when it comes to his jam up disposition, striking height and size which is a little intimidating for most. At 10 months old Sarge was 145 pounds. He is compliant of what we ask of him. Sarge is extremely social when he is away from our property and good in public. When it comes to visitors coming on to our property, he alerts us with his massive deep bark and is intimidating to those that do not know him with piercing stair. Sarge has a heart of gold and is eager to please. You can literally see the smile on his face when we go on family outings, especially to the river and camping at the lake is his favorite. He does wonderful in a crate and on car rides. We are delighted with his calm disposition and demeanor. Sarge has a AKC Champion pedigree with 6 Champions and 2 Grand Champions. “Sarge” has completed his health testing through OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) for his Hips (GOOD), Elbow, Cardiac, Patella (knees), thyroid, Multifocal Retinopathy, Degenerative Myelopathy and Progressive Retinal Atrophy. There are other health tested dogs in Sarges lineage.
Sarge completed his Breed-Relevant Genetic Health conditions for Autosomal Dominant Progressive Retinal Atrophy (RHO) and Canine Multifocal Retinopathy that are both identified in Bullmastiffs and these variants were NOT detected. There is an additional 203 other genetic conditions completed that found no variants detected. Genetic Breed DNA was completed that shows they are 100% Bullmastiff.
